Steve Blomer:

A look at the reliability of the timings given in police and witness reports for the Whitechapel murders, looking at the issues of non-synchronized time.

Steve was born and raised in North West London. He worked in medical research for 35 years and also served two terms as an elected borough councillor in the London Borough of Barnet. He relocated to Glasgow in 2018. Since taking early retirement in 2014 he has been a full time researcher. He is the author of "Inside Bucks Row", the first volume of a planned six book series. He also wrote the chapter on Kosminski in the Pen and Sword book "Who was Jack the Ripper" and has had articles published in 'Ripperologist' magazine and the Journal of the Whitechapel Society and has also appeared several times on Rippercast. He presented a talk on the Seaside Home Witness at the 2021 Casebook: Jack the Ripper online conference. Other interests include watching cricket (he played until his early forties), politics, Aruthrian Studies, Egyptology, medieval England, and Naval History.
